Latest build
In October 2023, Habitat Yukon started construction on our latest project on Gleaner Avenue in the Whistle Bend subdivision. We are building four homes (two duplexes).
Each home is 130.06 square meters (1,400 square feet) and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The homes are single story and are all built to universal design. In addition, two of the homes are fully accessible.
The homes will achieve a minimum 25% decrease in energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions over the 2015 National Energy Code for Buildings or a 15% decrease in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions relative to the 2017 National Energy Code for Buildings.
The homes will be completed and ready for occupancy by the end of 2024.
